Wheres the Juice!

I know i said id be doing juice reviews but after vaping for.. 30 so odd days, it seems that all my years of smoking killed my taste buds worse then i could have ever assumed.  Flavors that everybody else say are so strong they cant vape, i can barly taste!  They are getting better so probably next month i will start to do reviews of my juices, im making sure i save some of just about every juice i buy so i can go back and do reviews at a later date.  For now ive swaped to mixing my own flavors, and just to show you how bad smoking is for your taste buds here is a example.  With Joann's English toffee flavor most comments from other vapers say that 10-15% of the flavor is enough, 20% is so strong its over powering.  Right now im vaping the English Toffee at 50% flavor and its not strong at all!!

So there you go, stay tuned for a HUGE (20ish so far) set of reviews in about 3-4 weeks!
Also i will have a review of the 510 PCC i got from cignot in the next few days, ive held off on this review since the build quality was... questionable i guess is the right term for it and i wanted to use it for a while to make sure it wasnt total junk before i did the review.

Review of the Joye 510

This review will cover the Joye 510 included in the kit below, i had to break this review up into several different sections as there are just so many different parts to this kit!

So on with the 510. Reading other reviews you will find horror story's of the atomizers tasting bad to start with, being DOA, not working right ect ect, all i can say is so far, i have had none of these problems. The vapor production is just great, you get a awesome throat hit and the battery's in my kit came fully charged, so no waiting around to try it out! The only down side i have found with the 510 so far, is the battery life is just terrible! Most reports place it at about 3hrs, i find i get closer to 1-2 hours from a single charge. If you get the pcc with your order the this just doesn't matter, no matter where you are you can either have a second battery charging at all times, or keep one battery fully charged. For work i find this is a great solution for me, i only vape on my regular breaks, so i take my break, vape away and then put it back in the pcc until my next break by that time the battery is fully charged again.

All of the battery options offered by cignot are the manual style instead of the automatic, i must say to start with this did kinda put me off, the idea of pushing a button each time seemed like it would be a pain. After using this for 2 weeks i have to say it becomes so easy you don't even notice it, pressing the button 1-2 seconds before you drag gives the atty time to warm up so when you inhale you get all the throat hitting flavor loving goodness your looking for, you just cant go wrong with the manual battery's. One advantage of the manual battery is that there is no cutoff time like you get with the automatics, if you want to drag for 5 seconds, or 10, it just works. No cutoff, no downtime, priceless.

Scoring:

Build Quality: 10
I had no problems with the battery's, atomizers not working, atomizers leaking ect, so this has to be a 10. Everything fits together well and has a nice... heft? to it, you know if you drop it you cant break it, without being so heavy its hard to use.
Vapor production: 9
While im sure it could be a little better, the production on this tiny device is just insane, you wont have any complaints with the production of this unit.
Battery life: 5
If you have the pcc battery life isnt a concern, however if you don't you will need 4-5 battery's for a day of work, and to constantly have 1 charging when at home, battery life is defiantly not great.
Ease of Use: 9
The manual battery does take a little get used to, but it wont take you long to make it second nature. Pick it up, hit button, take a slow easy drag. Couldn't be easier.
Overall: 7
I love this 510, i really do, but the battery life just drags the score down to a overall 7. If you use a pcc or a USB pass through (so you can vape off the usb without a battery) then this is a great great great product. Without pcc or usb, then you will need a LOT of battery's (at $10-$20 a piece, it can be expensive, do yourself a favor and get a pcc!)

510 with PCC Kit

This review will cover the Joye 510 with pcc kit that i recently got from www.cignot.com (see company review below). The kit included:

2 Batts
2 Atomizers
5 prefilled carts
1 Ac Charger
1 Pcc
5ml of Joye RY4 ejuice
3ml of ECOpure Fresh ejuice

All of this cost just $65, with free shipping.
If you are looking to get your first e-cig, this is the perfect kit! Everything you need is included to use the e-cig all day everyday without worrying about charging, or running out of carts. Having the 5 prefilled carts to get you going, then your choice (You have your choice of the flavors of ejuice, i choose the Joye RY4 and ECOpure) of ejuice to refill with gives you a great chance to see how easy it is to refill these carts. If you decide refilling isnt for you, then you still have the prefilled carts to use, its a win-win situation!

First E-Cig

2 weeks ago i purchaced my first e-cig, i decided to wait untill now to post my first review so that factors like burning in the attomizer, getting off analogs etc wouldnt skew my results.

I purchaced a Joye 510 with pcc from www.cignot.com. Im going to split this review into 2 sections, 1 on the company, one on the 510. So starting with the company first.

Company: Cignot.com
Before purchacing i had many questions on the 510 special that i was interested in and sent quite a few emails to vicky at cignot.com about the package. All i can say is she knows her stuff and is very very helpfull. As the site says "Cignot is a couple of women who have been smoking for most of their lives. We sell only the products we use personally and believe them to be the finest products available today." You can tell right away that this is 100% accurate!
I ordered on a thursday night and my package arrived first thing monday morning, thats defiantly fast shipping! - Shipping is also free on all orders over $59, so defiantly a big plus!

Scoreing:

Selection: 8
While they do not carry very many items, they do strive to carry all of the most popular, in the most popular kits.
Site Layout: 10
Everything is very easy to find on the site, its layed out in a very easy to follow manner. Carrying only the most popular items helps them a lot with the site as they dont have to have 100 diffrent sections, making it a very easy place to shop.
Customer Service: 10
Vicky is just awesome, nuff said.
Pricing: 9
I could have bought what i ordered from them slightly cheaper if i had ordered from one of the china sites, however no shipping charges pushes them slightly ahead!
Shipping: 10
Product shiped the next busniess day with free shipping and arrived on time.
Packaging: 7
While everything was packaged good enough to get to its destination in one peice, it was all packaged in a plain white box, no gift box or any other details.
Overall: 9
If they carry what your looking for, they are a great vendor, you wont go wrong with cignot.com!

Why?

Why this blog?
Well that's easy, and not so easy to explain at the same time! Basically I'm just about to buy my first e-cig, after spending around a month looking at different products, reading many many reviews on just as many sites I've noticed one glaring fact with e-cigs. Depending on what site you goto, you get very very different responses.

For instance, goto forum A (don't want to mention forum names, its nobodies fault after all) and ask whats better, blucig, or a joye 510 with pcc and youll get told blu is terrible, the attys (atomizers) break down, batteries don't last, they don't hold much liquid etc. However goto forum B and as the same question, you'll be told joey is over priced and that blu is reliable, easy, and perfect in every way.

Then you have the YouTube reviews, oh my lets see... 10 min review, 8 mins of somebody smoking (OK maby a few passable jokes thrown in) 1 min of him (or her) saying what the product is, then a hasty "throat hit 6, vapor 5, overall 9" grade at the end.

I don't know about you but i want to know about the product, was is priced well? was it good quality? whats the customer service like? will you buy from then again? I don't care what the other people on the forum say, i want to know the real truth, if the product is terrible then just say so! So many "fanboys" out there for each product its hard to know whats going on!

That brings me to why a blog? why not on a forum? why not YouTube? Well that's easy, as i said with each forum, do a little reading and you'll know what the answer will be, every review on each site basically be the same in the end. I don't want my experiences, my views to be tarnished with what any particular site is known for, Here you will find just 1 thing, the TRUTH!

Well I've run on a little too much for my first entry, so I'm going to back to sifting through all conflicting reviews on products and stores until i find the one I'm going to order. Hopefully ill be ordering this week, i cant wait to get started!
